The National Center for Public Policy and Higher Education will serve as a resource, a clearinghouse and a constructive critic -- seeking to stimulate, assist and prod government and higher education toward constructive change.

Named for John William Pope, who served on the UNC-Chapel Hill Board of Trustees, the Center seeks to bring innovative thinking and critical analysis to the field of higher education, in North Carolina and across the nation.
