Character Education Partnership is dedicated to developing young people of good character who become responsible and caring citizens.
CHARACTER COUNTS! National Office
CHARACTER COUNTS! is the most widely implemented approach to character education. It's a nonprofit, nonpartisan, nonsectarian framework that teaches the Six Pillars of Character: trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring and citizenship. The CHARACTER COUNTS! Coalition embraces thousands of schools, communities and nonprofits. The national office provides consulting and training services and produces support materials and special projects.
The Partnerships in Character Education Project Program
The projects will help states work with school districts to develop curriculum materials, provide teacher training, involve parents in character education and integrate character education into the curriculum. Each project will design activities to incorporate six elements of character -- caring, civic virtue and citizenship, justice and fairness, respect, responsibility, and trustworthiness.
